Black Seed Oil is making a name for itself around the world. For thousands of years, this oil has been used in many Asian, Middle Eastern, and Far Eastern Countries when cooking.
Tip: Black Seed Oil should be ingested raw, avoid heating it to preserve the nutrients!
What about using the oil for frying?
We don’t recommend use Black Seed Oil in frying because at high temperatures it breaks the chains of unsaturated Fatty Acids (Omegas) and loses nutritional value.
However, since eating habits around the world are based on fried foods, oxidation-resistant oils and fats are needed.
On the other hand, there is no conclusion about using Black Seed Oil for frying, but recent research showed that a blend of this oil and Sunflower Oil give better quality oil, as Black Seed Oil improves oxidative stability. More research is needed in this regard though.
